Here's how a magnetic separator rod typically works:
1. Construction: The magnetic separator rod is usually a cylindrical rod or bar made of magnetic material, such as neodymium iron boron (NdFeB) or ceramic magnets. The choice of material depends on the specific application and the strength of the magnetic field required.
2. Installation: The rod is placed within the product flow, often in a hopper, chute, or pipeline, where the material to be separated passes over or around the magnetic rod.
3. Magnetic Field: When the mixture containing magnetic particles flows through or near the magnetic rod, the magnetic field generated by the rod attracts and captures the ferrous or magnetic contaminants.
4. Cleaning: Periodically, the magnetic rod needs to be cleaned to remove the captured particles. This can be done manually by removing the rod and wiping or scraping off the collected material, or some systems have automatic cleaning mechanisms.

Features of magnetic rod:
-Standard magnetic bar is a cylinder with the diameter of D25mm (1 inch).
-The magnetic bars normally made of seamless SUS304 tubes or 316L tubes and were fine polished that the roughness can meet Ra0.6.
-Different installation End Plugs can be chosen---Threaded studs, Tapped holes, Plain ends.
-The maximum magnetic induction intensity can reach 14000 Gs for the magnetic bar with the diameter of 25mm.
-The standard working temperature can reach 80ºC and the maximum working temperature can reach 350ºC if need.

After appearance and surface gauss inspection, magnetic bar is packed as following ways to protect it from damage during delivery.

Shipment: Magnetic bar can be shipped by Air, Express, Truck and by sea. But it must be shielded if by air or Express.
