This permanent magnet assembly is made by sticking a permanent magnet (using new materials and standard grade) into a steel cup that with the external thread or male thread. Steel nut and screw cap can be fixed on the external thread. We usually glue neodymium disc magnets into the steel cups. The steel cups can not only protect the disc NdFeB magnet but also ensure the NdFeB disc magnets strongest magnetic force and holding ability. The steel cup of the pot magnets with eyelet can be made by lathing or punching. We have both two kinds of pot magnets with closed hook for sale.
Fishing magnet is one of permanent pot magnet assembly, also called as recovery magnet, retrieving magnet, which used to search for the lost metal objects underwater. These fishing magnets are made of neodymium magnet embedded a steel shell; it concentrates the magnetic field on the bottom which increase the magnetic force by 2-4 times compared to the naked magnet. This fishing magnet design uses round neodymium magnet & A3 steel cup with external thread, which has larger contact area to get more strong strength.

Remark: the strength is the vertical magnetic pull-force which make the magnet pull away from the 1.18'' thickness steel plate of a tester under ideal condition, it does not mean the actual weight which the magnet can lift the actual pull force will vary mainly depending on the following variables:
A: Steel thickness (the thicker the steel is, the stronger the pull force)
B: Attracting position (the farther beyond the center of gravity of the attracted object, the lower the pull force)
C: Pulling direction ( the smaller the angle taking 90°as a standard, the stronger the pull force), the pull force in horizontal direction is only about one third of that in vertical direction)
